2021年粤港澳大湾区空港经济发展形势

Abstract:This report focuses on the infrastructure construction，airport operation and airport economy of the seven airports in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Through data analysis，it reveals the development and changes of the operation performance of the seven airports in 2019，2020 and 2021，and draws the following conclusions：firstly，the infrastructure construction of the seven airports continues to develop rapidly；secondly，the airport operation performance in 2021 is generally better than that in 2020，but it has not recovered to the level of 2019. The recovery of domestic transport routes is better than that of international routes. The operation performance of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport，Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and Zhuhai Jinwan Airport is better than that of Hong Kong International Airport and Macao International Airport；Third，the global spread of the COVID-19 is the fundamental reason that affects the development and change of airport operation performance. With the gradual control of the epidemic，the airport economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will recover in an all-round way and usher in new development opportunities.
