Abstract:In 2022，the bilateral relationship between Australia and India maintained its momentum of rapid development. The relations have been on an upswing in the fields of political，economic，security and people-to-people exchanges. In this year，the Australia-india relations achieved some breakthroughs，such as the establishment of annul summits and the signing of the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement. However，these two countries have different strategic objectives，which causes a certain degree of disagreements in aspect of international order reforming among these two QUAD Partners. As one of the US’s core allies，Australia is strongly committed to the liberal international order，while India advocates “reformed multilateralism”. As a result，Australia and India have disagreements over several critical geopolitical issues，such as the Ukraine issue. The rapid development of economic and migration relations brings about certain degrees of independence to the Australia-india relations，but it also carries risks.
